Directors Luke and Dan bring nearly 40 years of combined experience in financial services, having enjoyed roles at institutions like Barclays, Lloyds, and Aldermore. With deep roots in commercial and property finance – as well as hands-on backgrounds in construction and asset-based lending, they’re passionate about helping businesses access the right funding with confidence and clarity.
Supporting Luke, Dan, and our clients is Katie, our Commercial Finance Coordinator, who ensures every client journey is smooth, responsive, and well-organised. With a background in both residential and commercial finance, and a high-performance athlete’s discipline, Katie brings energy, precision, and problem-solving to every interaction. Together, we’re committed to making finance feel personal, proactive, and straightforward

Luke Curtis
Luke has over 20 years’ experience in financial services, previously having worked for Barclays Commercial Bank, Bank of Ireland and First Rand Banking Group/Aldermore Bank where he launched and headed up the MotoNovo Commercial Finance business. Prior to this Luke worked in construction and retains a passion for supporting construction, property development and commercial real estate businesses.

dan cholewinski
Dan has over 18 years financial services experience at Lloyds Banking Group and First Rand Banking Group/Aldermore Bank. By the age of 19 Dan held an underwriting mandate at Lloyds Banking Group, and his experience thereafter with MotoNovo Finance included supporting trading businesses to increase their sales with both retail and wholesale finance solutions.

Katie Hammond
Katie has several years of experience in property finance, having transitioned from a residential background. She graduated from university in 2024 and has since focused on providing exceptional support and organisation in her role. With a strong ability to manage multiple tasks and solve problems efficiently, Katie ensures clients receive the best possible service at every stage. Outside of work, she is also a high-level swimmer, demonstrating her dedication and discipline both in and out of the office.
